COMPUTER RECYCLING SERVICES
 HAZTECH provides recycling services for your old computer equipment. We service private corporations, government agencies, and schools throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

We provide on site packing and pick-up services at your location. Monitors are stacked on pallets and and weighed in preparation for shipment to the recycling plant.Our technicians will assist you with inventory, segregation, palletizing and shrink wrapping to prevent breakage and release into the environment during transport.

As an EPA RCRA permitted hazardous waste transporter, all our employees are trained DOT packing requirements, waste tracking, spill response and prevention. HAZTECH carries $2,000,000 in professional, pollution and transporter liability insurance.

All items received by HAZTECH are recycled in an ethical and environmentally sound manner. Our customers can be assured that their equipment is being recycled properly and safely in accordance with all state and federal regulations.

Environmental Concerns
Most of the environmental concerns with computers have to do with monitors containing Cathode-Ray Tubes (CRTs). CRT monitors can contain over five pounds of Lead and other hazardous metals including Mercury, Cadmium and Hexavalent Chromium. Lead is a critical component that protects the users from radiation emitting from the tube, but can be hazardous if the CRT is broken.
